FOR ENGLISH VIEWERS

"Green Knowledge," means awareness on Environment is necessary for everyone. In Olden days it was not required to separately say or talk about eco-friendly practices and methods. Because the habits and practices of our ancestors were beneficial to environment. For example, when the water was dripping from roof, they used to collect it in a bucket and use it for various purposes on the next day. To avoid wastage of rain water they also used to divert it to plants. They used to grow vegetables and fruits in the backyard of houses. They had the habit of utilising the peels of fruits, vegetables, used tea or coffee powder as manure to these plants. They used to regard Food as God and strictly used to avoid its wastage. Carrying a cloth bag for shopping was a common practice.

Most of their habits are the same that we are thinking of implementing these days. The environmental problems were quite less in those days, as they made such eco-friendly habits as a part of their life. Even the magnitude of air, water and soil pollution was very less.

Let us cultivate such eco-frienly habits once again and reduce the pollution. Let's save our Mother Earth !
